quickly covered in a layer of dust. In our area, the beauty of the Philippines is now lost in a haze of brown.

In the midst of all of this, our son Luke finds a little joy by leaving us messages written in the dust. Nightly, before going to bed, he writes on the glass window: “I Love You!” No, we are not poor housekeepers. Cleaning surfaces is a daily job. However, this is the amount of dust that collects each day in our house. These messages from Luke will cease when the dry season ends, at least the ones written in the dust.

Preachers have encouraged their members to go home and dust off their Bibles. In other words, read it and spend time with their Lord, sit at His feet and learn from Him. Is there dust on your Bible? If so, dust it off by opening it up and enjoy His Word. Please pray with us that the Agutaynens, too, will keep the dust off their Bibles.

<figure
