but can ye not discern the signs of the times?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rainy season will soon be here, and there are many signs that point to its arrival.\u00a0 Normally rainy season starts in April, which means this extra month of dry season has been harder on the people in our village.\u00a0 The number of buckets that arrives each day to the well in our yard is at an all-time high, and we ourselves are struggling to keep enough water in our tank to meet our daily needs.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1677\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/Buckets-600x164.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"164\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/Buckets-600x164.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/Buckets-300x82.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/Buckets-768x210.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-1678\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/Flying-Termite-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"Flying Termite\" width=\"146\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/Flying-Termite-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/Flying-Termite-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/Flying-Termite-600x600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/Flying-Termite.jpg 615w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 146px) 100vw, 146px\" \/>One sign that indicates rainy season will be here soon is the arrival of flying termites.\u00a0 These little creatures are usually an annoyance as they swarm around lights at dusk and land on anything or anyone under the lights.\u00a0 However, they also bring the hope of soon-coming rain.<\/p>\n<p>Another sign is the change of direction of the wind.\u00a0 Along with this change, we have had a couple of brief rain showers, and even a thunderstorm with hard rain for an hour.\u00a0 These rains have brought a beautiful rainbow in the sky.\u00a0 The rainbow brings hope, not just of more rain, but of the loving care of our Creator.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1679\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/rainbow-with-white-trim-600x215.jpg\" alt=\"Rainbow\" width=\"600\" height=\"215\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/rainbow-with-white-trim-600x215.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/rainbow-with-white-trim-300x107.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/rainbow-with-white-trim-768x275.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2016\/05\/rainbow-with-white-trim.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>Please pray with us for the Agutaynen people, that they won\u2019t just notice the signs of impending rain, but will turn their hearts to their Creator as their Savior and source of eternal hope.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Matthew 16:2-3 \u201cHe (Jesus) answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.\u00a0 And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering.\u00a0 O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky;
