Tay Hesus, a year ago<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For the last several weeks, one of my daily routines is to go visit Tay Hesus.\u00a0 As you know, he has stage 4 cancer and his body is losing the battle.\u00a0 Over the last few weeks, he has grown weaker and weaker.\u00a0 Because of Ginger\u2019s accident, we were out of the village for over a week.\u00a0 So upon our return to the village, I went down the dusty road to see Hesus.\u00a0 Upon my arrival to his bedside, Hesus immediately wanted to know how Ginger was.\u00a0 This man who is dying, wanted to know how my wife was.\u00a0 Wow!\u00a0 As he spoke, I had to lean close to his face to hear his \u201cwords\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0 His words came out as a mumbled whisper.\u00a0 Often I looked over to Hesus\u2019 wife to see if she understood what he was trying to say.\u00a0 In my short visit of about 20 minutes, Hesus kept falling asleep.\u00a0 Towards the end of my visit, he awoke again and I took the opportunity to pray for him and for his family.\u00a0 Because of his sleepiness, I kept my prayer short.\u00a0 However, immediately upon ending my prayer, Hesus said, \u201cI want to pray for Ginger.\u201d\u00a0 Over the next few minutes, Hesus prayed for Ginger, but due to his weakness and his lost ability to speak clearly, I can\u2019t tell you much of what he prayed.\u00a0 However, this is one of the sweetest prayers I\u2019ve ever heard.<\/p>\n
