As missionary kids, it is always fun to have relatives or friends come over to the Philippines for a visit. \u00a0Just last month, my Grandma Sue and Aunt Marcia came over for a two-week visit. \u00a0This wasn\u2019t my grandmother\u2019s first visit but it was my aunt\u2019s first visit. \u00a0Aunt Marcia saw everything in a new way than my Grandma and we did. \u00a0It is always interesting when someone sees with fresh eyes the culture of the Filipinos, and sees something that we had never noticed before. \u00a0My aunt took lots of pictures yet the hardest thing for anyone to do is to describe their visit. \u00a0I always enjoyed hearing their comments about this and that. \u00a0Most of all, I just enjoyed being with them. \u00a0They were able to see our village and participate in Youth Group, Church, and Kids\u2019 Bible Club. \u00a0The villagers enjoyed showing my grandma and my aunt their way of living, like starting a fire and making a crab trap. \u00a0They had lots of questions. \u00a0We also did some island hopping and saw many beautiful fishes. \u00a0Every day we would all play games and just have fun together. \u00a0Those two weeks together went by quickly, but they left some fun memories.<\/p>\n
