\"\"We have been anticipating for several months the announcement of the new name for New Tribes Mission.\u00a0 This past week, it was announced that our new name is Ethnos360.\u00a0 Even though we are now Ethnos360, our vision still remains the same:\u00a0 Reaching the world for God\u2019s glory.<\/p>\n

This vision is the heart of our new name.\u00a0 \u201cEthnos\u201d is the \u201cnations\u201d that Christ referred to when He commanded His followers to \u201cmake disciples of all nations\u201d (Matthew 28:19) and \u201c360\u201d represents the entire globe. The goal continues to be to go into all the world to see a thriving church for every people.<\/p>\n

This past Sunday, we said \u201cgood-bye\u201d to our Agutaynen brothers and sisters in the Lord.\u00a0 There were many emotions expressed, especially as our daughter Rebekah said good-bye to her Agutaynen friends.<\/p>\n

Rebekah was only three years old when we moved into the village.\u00a0 At that time, everyone in our village still lived in darkness.\u00a0 Over the years, she and her friends have grown.\u00a0 And over the years many of her friends have trusted in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n

As we return to the States for our Home Assignment, we hand the Agutaynen church, Faith Bible Church, over to three men who will lead and guide the church in our absence.\u00a0 This is one more step to seeing a \u201cthriving church\u201d among the Agutaynens for God\u2019s glory.<\/p>\n

Please be praying for our family and for the Agutaynen believers as we return to the States.\u00a0 Please pray that the believers will grow as a body.\u00a0 Please also be praying for us as we return to the States to share with our churches, and for Rebekah as she moves back to the States and starts her life as a college student.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
