One year ago, upon our return to the States, the Agutaynen church was doing well and on top of the mountain.\u00a0 As a church family, we asked three men to step into a temporary leadership position.<\/p>\n

Today, the church now appears to be going through a valley.\u00a0 Two weeks ago, the eldest member of our church family, Grandpa Rudy, passed away.<\/p>\n

Then, just a few days ago, Edmund, one of our church leaders (only 53-years old), has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.\u00a0 At the recommendation of the doctor, the family is not seeking any treatment.\u00a0 The doctor says Edmund only has 2-4 months with us.\u00a0 Please pray that Edmund, his wife Emelda, and their youngest daughter Stella will stand strong during this difficult time.\u00a0 Their older children, extended family, and neighbors are putting a lot of pressure on them to return to the old religion. \u00a0They will tell Edmund that God will heal his body if he returns to their church.\u00a0 Please pray with us for Edmund and his family.\u00a0 We would absolutely love it if God would heal him of this cancer.\u00a0 We hope that Edmund will be a wonderful testimony during this difficult time.\u00a0 Please also pray for the village church.\u00a0 Attacks are coming at everyone due to Rudy\u2019s death and now with Edmund\u2019s sickness.\u00a0 Thank you very much.<\/p>\n
