Hand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Could\nyou imagine building a church or a house with no electric tools?&nbsp; Each week, we have a crew of about 12 men who\nare laboring away at the construction of Faith Bible Church . . . by hand.&nbsp; By hand they have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>made over 1000 hollow blocks;<\/li><li>dug 22 \u201choles\u201d for the footing of 22 cement columns.\u00a0 Each hole, they removed 100 cubic feet of dirt;<\/li><li>cut hundreds of rebar;<\/li><li>bent rebar for footings, foundations, and columns;<\/li><li>mixed over 200 bags of cement, all by hand.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" hand.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As\nof last Friday, all the footings, foundations, and columns have been poured.&nbsp; Walls are now being constructed and a\nperimeter cement beam is now being prepared and hopefully finished within four\nweeks.&nbsp; Again, all by hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At\nthe same time, steel trusses are being made in \u201ctown\u201d.&nbsp; Lord willing, the installation of the trusses\nand roof will begin in May.&nbsp; This part of\nthe construction, we have needed to contract out and have someone in town make\nand install the trusses and roof.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"214\" Most of the workers are unbelievers and still don\u2019t know Jesus as their Savior.\u00a0 Every Friday afternoon, we gather the workers together and share the Good News with them.\u00a0 Over the years, we have had several evangelistic outreaches in the village, which are attended by mostly women.\u00a0 So, in a way we are excited to have a \u201cmen\u2019s\u201d meeting.\u00a0 However, these men really don\u2019t choose to come to hear the Gospel message, but to finally get their pay for the week.\u00a0 Please pray that these men will desire to attend the Bible study and hopefully trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior.\u00a0 Wouldn\u2019t it be great if once the church is built, some of these workers will be sitting inside it every Sunday with
