Who would you choose to be your child’s friend? <\/span><\/p>\n

A. A child who is kind, but doesn’t know Jesus
B. A child who throws rocks, and doesn’t know Jesus
C. A child who is helpful, but doesn’t know Jesus
D. All the above <\/span>

Who would you choose to be your children’s playmates? Our kids don’t get a choice.  All the options above are the Agutaynen playmates our kids have, none of which know Jesus as their personal Savior.  Most of the Agutaynen kids are kind to our children, but some kids like to tease and pinch.  We encourage our kids to “shine for Jesus” to their Agutaynen friends by being kind and sharing. <\/p>\n

In the same way, all of our adult Agutaynen friends don’t know Jesus.  Many of them want to help us with the Agutaynen language, but at the same time we are occasionally in situations we wouldn’t “choose” to be.  For example, Ginger sometimes will hear the “local gossip".  Stephen will go to visit a friend, only to find that Agutaynen drunk with his group. <\/p>\n

We don’t share this as “woe is us”.  We simply want you to know how to pray for us.  Please pray that our family won’t be influenced by this “world of darkness”.  May we all shine for Jesus… “You in your small corner, and I in mine”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
