Aman<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In August 2017, one of our eldest believers, Aman,\nsaid, \u201cI will be next.\u201d  Was he referring\nto getting baptized?  No.  Was he referring to teaching a new Bible\nstudy?  No.  Was he referring to his own death?  Yes.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day that Aman made this comment was shortly after the death of another believer.\u00a0 Logically, due to his age and health condition, yes, Aman should have been next.\u00a0 However, in 2018, two other believers died.\u00a0 So, Aman wasn\u2019t next after all.\u00a0 Just a couple of weeks ago though, Aman\u2019s health suddenly deteriorated, and he passed away.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like most believers, Aman\u2019s grown children didn\u2019t\nshare his faith in Jesus Christ.  This\nalways leads to a clash with the family of the deceased as they want to give\nhim a traditional burial.  However, Aman\u2019s\nfamily did recognize that he was a member of our church and welcomed our participation\nin his funeral.  We were able to share\nabout Aman\u2019s faith and the Good News of salvation through the work of Jesus\nChrist.  Please pray with us that\nsomehow, through Aman\u2019s death others will desire to know more of the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
