{"id":2373,"date":"2020-02-16T07:19:34","date_gmt":"2020-02-16T11:19:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/?p=2373"},"modified":"2020-02-16T07:19:40","modified_gmt":"2020-02-16T11:19:40","slug":"oe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/2020\/02\/16\/oe\/","title":{"rendered":"OE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This past week, our boys and Stephen went to OE, also known as \u201cOutdoor Education\u201d.\u00a0 Every year Faith Academy, a school in Manila for missionary kids, hosts OE.\u00a0 This is an opportunity for 6<sup>th<\/sup>-9<sup>th<\/sup> graders to get out of the classroom and go outside.\u00a0 OE brings together a great combination of spiritual emphasis, ministry opportunity, teamwork, and a little bit of education.\u00a0 This year the original plan was to host OE at Taal Volcano, which erupted on January 12.\u00a0 The teachers at Faith Academy quickly came up with a plan B, and then health concerns and restrictions disrupted plan B due to the coronavirus.\u00a0 In the end, Faith Academy was still able to host OE and over 150 international students were still able to gather together for this event.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"251\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2020\/02\/Squad-600x251.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2374\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2020\/02\/Squad-600x251.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2020\/02\/Squad-300x126.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2020\/02\/Squad-125x52.jpg 125w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2020\/02\/Squad-250x105.jpg 250w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2020\/02\/Squad-450x188.jpg 450w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2020\/02\/Squad.jpg 764w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do our boys have to say about OE?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOutdoor Ed was a fun and neat experience.&nbsp; My favorite part was the worship time and\nspending time with my friends.\u201d&nbsp; Luke<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOutdoor Ed was one of the best experiences I\u2019ve had\nbecause I was able to spend time with other MK\u2019s and with God.\u201d&nbsp;
