Throughout the last few months, words like \u201ccancel\u201d, \u201cpostpone\u201d and \u201csuspension\u201d have been topics of many emails we have received.\u00a0 But did you know that the delivery of international mail has also been \u201csuspended\u201d?\u00a0 Not only have we been unable to send mail to you (since March 17), but we can\u2019t receive mail from you either.\u00a0 As a result of national borders closing, the post office has suspended their international mail service due to unavailability of transportation. \u00a0In other words, until international flights resume, there are no means of delivery of international mail<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This came to our attention when a friend in the States opened her mailbox and saw a returned letter to us as \u201cundeliverable\u201d.\u00a0 Since that time we have heard from others with similar experiences.\u00a0 Just prior to the quarantine here in the Philippines last March, we went to the post office to send out our \u201cthank you\u2019s\u201d. \u00a0Sadly, we were told that the letters would just be stacked until flights resumed.\u00a0 At that time, we were under the impression that would only be 30 days and we decided not to mail those letters.\u00a0 89 days later, our letters are still on our shelf, unfortunately collecting dust.\u00a0 Via this blog update, we want you all to know why many of you haven\u2019t received Ginger\u2019s notes and why some of you are receiving returned mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though the delivery of mail has stopped, we know your prayers and partnership haven\u2019t.  Thank you very much.   We pray you are all doing well as you are also experiencing a variety of inconveniences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
