is the Bridge"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Recently Luke and Stephen went for a bike ride with Darryl, Stephen\u2019s father, to some nearby villages.\u00a0 We literally rode up and down hills, across rivers, and through the forest.\u00a0 At one location, we crossed a river, not just once but twice. \u00a0To some degree, we crossed the river by faith, faith that the bridge wasn\u2019t going to collapse.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" Luke, coming back across the bridge<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>As I ponder this bike ride and this bridge, I think of the 1 Timothy 2:5, \u201cFor there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.\u201d\u00a0 Why does this verse come to mind?\u00a0 Because the Wycliffe Bible translators translated the word \u201cmediator\u201d as \u201cbridge\u201d in the Agutaynen New Testament.\u00a0 So, for the Agutaynens, 1 Timothy 2:5 reads like, \u201cJesus is the only bridge for God and man to come together.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aren\u2019t we all thankful that Jesus is a sure bridge, that will never collapse!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please pray with us as we make final preparations for Bible Camp in April.\u00a0 We hope this will be a wonderful
