This past week began on Palm Sunday with four believers who proclaimed their faith in Jesus Christ alone through baptism.\u00a0 We are so excited for these believers and ask you to pray for their growth in Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n

And then the week ended with a 3-day Bible Camp.\u00a0 As we mentioned before, we had no idea how many would come to this camp.\u00a0 On Thursday, the first day of camp, we set up 120 chairs, and were ready to add more if needed.\u00a0 Well, we didn\u2019t need them as there were only 32 attendees.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Ginger mentioned later to Stephen that the believers were discouraged, and some were wondering if people even knew where our church was.\u00a0 Thankful for those who came, we began.\u00a0 The ladies began worship time with songs, followed by Boboy teaching the first door of the Bible, the door of Noah\u2019s ark. \u00a0Throughout the morning, there were competitions, including verse memorization and Bible drills.\u00a0 And then the morning wrapped up with Boboy teaching the second door, the door of the Passover.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Later that afternoon, many of the believers, adults and attendees, gathered together for a meeting.\u00a0 Stephen began the meeting with prayer, emphasized that God brought who He wanted to be at Bible Camp, and tried to encourage the believers.\u00a0 From that point on, there was a new spirit amongst the believers and a joy to continue on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In short, attendance increased on the second day and once again on the third day.\u00a0 In all, there were 70 attendees, aged 11 to 24 years old, and all but one was from our village.\u00a0 70% of the attendees were non-believers.\u00a0 In three days, the Gospel message was clearly presented six times by Boboy and Stephen. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

In the weeks and months leading up to the camp, Ginger, Luke, and Jonathan spent time choosing songs that emphasized the point of each message, and then practiced these songs so that the boys were ready to play their guitars for Bible Camp.  About ten ladies were given the songs and they practiced together also, putting together motions for several of the songs and getting ready to lead the songs during the camp.  So, the Gospel was clearly presented, both through the messages by Boboy and Stephen and through the songs that were sung each day.<\/p>\n\n\n

Please pray with us that these messages continue to echo in the ears of those who came until they realize that Jesus truly is the one door.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n
