After months of planning, days of packing 170 gifts, and a night of little sleep for many of the believers who prepared a snack for all, we at Faith Bible Church hosted a Christmas program for the local elementary school.<\/p>\n\n\n

Ginger packed 170 gifts, each containing school supplies, candy, ornaments, a Gospel bracelet, and a Christmas Gospel tract. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Believers spent hours decorating the church.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Like most Christmas programs, games were played, Christmas songs were sung, and gifts were given.\u00a0 But more importantly, the message was clearly proclaimed.\u00a0 We asked one of church leaders to share the Gospel and he chose the theme of the program:\u00a0 The Time Has Come.\u00a0 He shared, as the time for Mary to give birth to Jesus came (Luke 2:6), so has the time come for everyone (the students, teachers and parents) to believe in Jesus alone as their Savior.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Just prior to giving out the gifts, Stephen took a short opportunity to reemphasize that the gifts we gave them will only last a very short time, but the gift of eternal life will last forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pray with us that these students (100+) and teachers (8) will clearly understand the true Gospel, and that salvation is apart from works, sacraments, and help from anyone else. <\/p>\n\n\n
