{"id":3502,"date":"2025-05-25T16:42:49","date_gmt":"2025-05-25T20:42:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/?p=3502"},"modified":"2025-05-25T20:19:12","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T00:19:12","slug":"question-1-are-you-retiring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/2025\/05\/25\/question-1-are-you-retiring\/","title":{"rendered":"Question #1:  Are You Retiring?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>No, we are not retiring.<\/em>&nbsp; How old do you think we are?!&nbsp; (You don\u2019t have to answer that question.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the few weeks we have been back in the States, several people have asked if we are retiring.&nbsp; Somehow people heard that we are going to the retirement home and thought that meant that we are retiring. <em>No, we are not retiring.<\/em> &nbsp;On the other hand, as the new chaplain at the retirement Homes of Ethnos360, we will be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to 120+ retired missionaries, their families, the staff, and the volunteers.  We still appreciate your prayer and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are the Lord&#8217;s servants and we look forward to serving Him in this new ministry with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new ministry won\u2019t officially begin until January but in the meantime, we will be coming to your church (in the Midwest).&nbsp; Our first meetings are this coming Sunday!&nbsp; We look forward to seeing you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will probably be the first of many updates to answer your questions.&nbsp; So, if you have a question, please let us know and we might publish it along with the answer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No, we are not retiring.&nbsp; How old do you think we are?!&nbsp; (You don\u2019t have to answer that question.)
