Today is the twenty-fifth anniversary of our move to the Philippines.  By God\u2019s provision, we went to the Philippines.  By God\u2019s guidance, we went to the Agutaynens.  By God\u2019s protection, we survived sickness.  By God\u2019s strength, we learned the Agutaynen language.  By God\u2019s grace, Agutaynens were saved by faith in Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n

Ten years ago, our partners were getting ready to leave the ministry.  At that time, as a team, we decided not to replace them with another missionary.  Why?  We wanted the Agutaynen believers to step up and to get involved in the ministry.  So, after our partners left, we asked three Agutaynen men to join us as church leaders.  Over the years, several Agutyanen women also stepped up and got involved in the Kids\u2019 Bible Club and Ladies\u2019 Bible Study.<\/p>\n\n\n

Today, twenty-five years later, for God\u2019s glory, Faith Bible Church is a self-governing, self-propagating, self-functioning church . . . with no missionaries.  So, the answer to the question is, \u201cNo, there are no new missionaries filling our position in the Philippines.\u201d  God has raised up national believers to carry on the ministry of Faith Bible Church.<\/p>\n\n\n
