This last week, we found ourselves going to thrift stores, antique stores, and then going back and doing it again.  We have purchased credenzas, end tables, and desks.  Our house now looks more like a home, with a place for nearly everything.<\/p>\n\n\n

One of the end tables we found, we loaded into our car upside down.\u00a0 Upon arriving home, Stephen found some buttons and Ginger found an uncashed check in the end table.\u00a0 The check was correctly filled out with a date (10 years ago), the name of the recipient, the amount, and the signature.\u00a0 The only thing lacking was that the recipient lost it and never received the money.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The check didn\u2019t do anyone good, not even us.  It was now a piece of paper with no value at all that ended up in the garbage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wonder if any of these residents of The Homes of Ethnos360 feel like they have no value.  Some of them maybe feel lost and maybe feel forgotten.  We look forward to finding them, loving them, and reminding them that they are a valued part of the family of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, we met (found) one of the residents.  She reached out and held Ginger\u2019s hand and didn\u2019t let go until we left.  What a blessing it is for us to be here and to find these people.<\/p>\n\n\n
