Yes, our children are involved in many ways.\u00a0 Our children, along with us, desire for their Agutaynen friends to know Jesus as their Savior.\u00a0 It breaks their hearts when they see a funeral procession pass by our house in the village and know that the deceased did not hear the message.\u00a0 It breaks their hearts when they see their friends not coming to the Bible lessons.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Every teaching night, Stephen would drive toward town and pick up High School students who were walking back to our village.\u00a0 These students would not make it back to the village in time for the meeting if we didn\u2019t go out and pick them up.\u00a0 Each of our children wanted to go with Stephen and pick up these friends.\u00a0 However, because there were dozens of students, Stephen could only take one of our children at a time.\u00a0 In the Philippines, there is always room for one more passenger.\u00a0 One night, Stephen counted 26 students that he picked up in one load; like we said, always room for one more.<\/p>\n

As a result of our children\u2019s desire to see the Agutaynens reached, our children are inviting their friends to come to the Bible meetings. One day, Luke noticed that his \u201cfriend\u201d was not at the teaching.\u00a0 So Luke asked Stephen to go with him to his \u201cfriend\u2019s\u201d house and invite him.\u00a0 From that time on, Luke\u2019s \u201cfriend\u201d came often to the teaching.\u00a0 As you notice, we have put \u201cfriend\u201d in quotes.\u00a0 This \u201cfriend\u201d of Luke\u2019s is around 40 years old!\u00a0 God used Luke\u2019s tender heart to bring this man to the teaching.\u00a0 At this time, we don\u2019t believe that Luke\u2019s \u201cfriend\u201d is a believer yet.\u00a0 Please continue to pray for the Agutaynens and especially for\u00a0Luke\u2019s friend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
