For the past few months I’ve been knee deep in two big website projects. Last week, one of those projects (ntm-aviation.org) has officially gone live and it’s so exciting! Unfortunately, going live is not a short process. Oh I got the site up and running in less than an hour, but with the influx of visitors from around the world, it wasn’t long before my oversights and mistakes were brought to the surface (the ones we didn’t catch in alpha testing). But now that the site has been live for a while and I’ve been able to address the bugs, I am at the point where, with only one major project on my plate, I can work on other little projects.
What other little projects? I’m glad you asked! This one is one of them. Our email-to-blog-post system has a few quirks that I need to smooth out regarding image placement. It seems a simple thing, but when our missionaries out in the bush are trying to communicate with their supporters, they need to be able to use images.
And they need those images to show up in the right place in their story to convey the right message!
So that’s what I’m working on today, and that’s why this post has some relatively unrelated pictures in it.
