Sorry that this post isn\u2019t beautiful with the pictures nicely organized, but I wanted to at least let you see the progress on my house in My Village!\u00a0 In the first picture, you\u2019ll see the guy making bricks for my house.\u00a0 I videoed him and timed him.\u00a0 After his co-worker got the cement and sand and water and everything mixed, it took him about 45 seconds per brick.\u00a0 He must have been exhausted!<\/p>\n

In the second picture (at least I hope it will show up second), you\u2019ll see where the foundation is dug for my house!\u00a0 Hopefully later this week they\u2019ll be able to start pouring the foundation and then building up from there!\u00a0 The round hut on the right is a granary, and the houses on the left are my neighbors.\u00a0 And the cow \u2013 I guess he\u2019s my neighbor, too!<\/p>\n

The third picture (which has the same cow in it), is the view from where my front door will be eventually.\u00a0 That\u2019s my host mom\u2019s courtyard, as you can tell by all the bricks in it.<\/p>\n

In the fourth picture (without the cow), it\u2019s the view from where I think one of my living room windows will be.\u00a0 Nice!<\/p>\n
