(I wrote this post on Saturday evening.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Good news!\u00a0 I\u2019m heading out tomorrow for a trip to Israel with a bunch of people I know from my church in the US!\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
More good news!\u00a0 Our houses in the village are finally finished!\u00a0 (Or at least they\u2019re close enough to being finished that we can move in.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Crazy news!\u00a0 The two overlap \u2013 the trip to Israel is right when we\u2019re finally able to move into the village.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
More crazy news!\u00a0 Jen will be going back to the US on home assignment (furlough) less than two weeks after I get back from Israel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
So what are we going to do between all the good news and crazy news?\u00a0 First, thank God for all the good news!\u00a0 Second, here\u2019s our plan, at least how it stands at the moment:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
I head to Israel.<\/div>\n
Jen moves into My Village.<\/div>\n
I get back from Israel.<\/div>\n
We have our big \u201cWe\u2019re moving!\u201d party shindig in My Village.<\/div>\n
Jen leaves on home assignment.<\/div>\n
I live in My Village without her, learning culture and language and building relationships and such.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
So yeah, this is a very exciting time, but a crazy time, too.\u00a0 Thanks for joining us in thanking God for all the good stuff and praying for us in the craziness of it all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
PS. Additional crazy news \u2013 the internet has been so intermittent since yesterday that it\u2019s taken me hours to just get this update uploaded and sent.\u00a0 Additional good news \u2013 In the meantime, my teammates have helped me pack up my house and now it\u2019s ready for moving into the village!\u00a0 They\u2019ll even take my stuff out there while I\u2019m in Israel.\u00a0 Who could ask for better teammates?<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
