She did have the surgery, but only one eye was removed. It sounds like they&#8217;ll send that in for a biopsy before removing the other. It also sounds like she&#8217;ll be continuing chemo in the meantime. But in talking to a missionary doctor this morning who went to see her last night, she was very encouraged by the cleanliness of the facility and by how Rachida pulled through the surgery just fine.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"direction: ltr; margin: 0; padding: 0; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: black; background-color: white;\">Please keep praying for little Rachida and her family. Oh, and there&#8217;s good news, too! A Christian lady has decided to spend the next week or so with them to help them out. So pray for her, too,and that she&#8217;d be a blessing and also be able to share her faith during this time.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"direction: ltr; margin: 0; padding: 0; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: black; background-color: white;\">Pray for continued healing and adjustment, too. Rachida is supposed to be getting fake eyes, so you include prayers that that will all go well as well.
