He objected, saying that while it\u2019s good for us to follow Him, it\u2019s for our own benefit and doesn\u2019t make any difference to God.\u00a0 God made all the angels and people and animals and everything, so if people don\u2019t follow Him, it doesn\u2019t matter to Him; how much less would it matter to Him if one little person like myself didn\u2019t follow Him!\u00a0<br \/><br \/>For those of you who know God like I do, based on the words of the Bible, this is such a sad understanding of who God is!\u00a0 Through the pages of the Bible we see God\u2019s heart: how it\u2019s broken when His people reject Him, how He tries over and over to woo them back, and how He rejoices over a single sinner who repents, just to mention a few examples.\u00a0 Can you pray with me that Adama and the rest of My People will come to understand God\u2019s love for them?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* Name changed for security reasons.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning Adama* told me something that is breaking my heart and reminding me even more of why I\u2019m here.\u00a0 We were talking about God, and how He doesn\u2019t need anything.\u00a0 Adama added that He doesn\u2019t want anything either.\u00a0 I objected, saying that, for example, God wants us to follow Him.
