It\u2019s been a long time since I\u2019ve seen any of you who are likely reading this. But here you wouldn\u2019t say it\u2019s been a long time. You\u2019d just say that it\u2019s been 2 days, whether you were talking in Jula or French. It gets the point across that it\u2019s been a while, but you just say it\u2019s been 2 days. After I went to Dakar for 3 weeks, I came back and people said, \u201cWow, it\u2019s been 2 days!
