\nWhere have you been this last school year?<\/strong> – I’ve been at New Tribes Mission’s Missionary Training Center (MTC) in Roach, Missouri (near the center of the state).\u00a0 Don’t worry, it’s named after Mr. Roach, not after the creepy bug.
\nWhat are your plans for the fall?<\/strong> – I’m planning on being back in Missouri at the MTC.\u00a0 I should finish there in December.
\nWhat’s the plan for after December, then?<\/strong> – I plan to come back to Wisconsin, where I’ll make preparations for heading overseas.\u00a0 A big part of what I’ll be up to for that next year or so is working on\u00a0developing a team of prayer partners and financial partners who will be standing with me as I go overseas.
\nYou keep talking about going “overseas.”\u00a0 Where are you going?\u00a0 Why are you going?\u00a0 How long are you going for?<\/strong> – Great questions!\u00a0 I want to live and work with a people group who don’t have a Bible in their language and have never heard about what Jesus did and why that matters for us today.\u00a0 I want to be part of a team who will go and teach them and translate the Bible into their language.\u00a0 There are over 2000 of those people groups around the world, so there are many options as to where to go.\u00a0 Right now it’s looking like West Africa (and I should have more details for you by the end of the year), but that may change.\u00a0 This will be a huge job, one that can only be done by God working in and through us.\u00a0 It will basically take the rest of my life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
