\"\"<\/a>I think it\u2019s hot here. In the last few weeks I have seen my thermometer at less than 90 degrees in my room once or twice in the morning, I believe. I\u2019ve put it in the window in the shade and it\u2019s easily gotten over 100. I\u2019ve put it in my window in the sun, against the glass, and have taken it out when it gets a little below 120, since I didn\u2019t want it to break. But it\u2019s been a while since I put it there in the sunny window.<\/p>\n

Today I figured I\u2019d try something else \u2013 I\u2019d put it outside in the sun. I put it up on the little wall around our courtyard, walked away and came back, and it was over 110. I thought that might be too hot of a place if the wall was reflecting heat, so I decided to put it on a little bush in the sun instead. I left it there for a while and went inside, and you can see the picture and figure out what happened. It was too hot and it burst, hence the red \u201cblood\u201d at the bottom of the picture. 130 perhaps? It doesn\u2019t feel that much hotter outside than inside, though! But it must be.<\/p>\n

No wonder I am hot and drink a lot as I try to live life like normal. Well, as \u201cnormal\u201d as life gets here. This whole morning and for a few hours this afternoon I was walking around outside, and while it was very hot it wasn\u2019t too unbearable. And yes, I do drink a lot. When my parents came I asked for Koolaid liquid squirt stuff that you can squirt into a cup of water to make instant Koolaid if you\u2019re lazy but want some Koolaid. Now is not the time for that. That\u2019s for if you make it a cup at a time. These days I can drink a 2 liter pitcher of Koolaid in a day. I made my current pitcher this afternoon and it\u2019s almost gone and I\u2019m the only one who\u2019s been drinking it.<\/p>\n

For those of you in Wisconsin who are anxious for spring to come, enjoy the cold for me, will ya? Oh, and have I mentioned that in Jula the month of March is called \u201cthe hot month,\u201d whereas April is called \u201cthe very hot month?\u201d I\u2019m looking forward to going to a training soon in another city. One of the reasons is that even though it\u2019s supposed to be hotter there, there should be a\/c in my room. Hooray! But until then, life as normal and lots of Koolaid and other drinks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
