{"id":894,"date":"2016-01-29T07:30:03","date_gmt":"2016-01-29T12:30:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/susie-l\/?p=894"},"modified":"2021-12-07T15:01:03","modified_gmt":"2021-12-07T20:01:03","slug":"burkina-faso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/susie-l\/2016\/01\/29\/burkina-faso\/","title":{"rendered":"West Africa &#8211; statistics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just came across some statistics from a talk I heard a year or two ago by a local missionary about one of the countries here in West Africa:<\/p>\n<p>* In this country, only 20% of the people are Christian of any denomination.<\/p>\n<p>* This country is in the 10\/40 window.<\/p>\n<p>* There are 84 different ethnic groups in this country. There is a church among only 14 of them, meaning that 70 are unreached. 44 of these 70 are in the western part of this country.<\/p>\n<p>* There are 4000 villages in this ccuntry without an evangelical church.
