I just came across some statistics from a talk I heard a year or two ago by a local missionary about one of the countries here in West Africa:<\/p>\n
* In this country, only 20% of the people are Christian of any denomination.<\/p>\n
* This country is in the 10\/40 window.<\/p>\n
* There are 84 different ethnic groups in this country. There is a church among only 14 of them, meaning that 70 are unreached. 44 of these 70 are in the western part of this country.<\/p>\n
* There are 4000 villages in this ccuntry without an evangelical church. And this is a bigger deal than having a town in the US without a church, since very few have cars and in the villages only some even have motorcycles to be able to head over to a neighboring village.<\/p>\n
God, please raise up laborers and send them to this country, and the rest of West Africa as well!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
