\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Glaro leaders gave their consent and are preparing for missionaries Aaron & Amy to move to their remote village. Pray that the June rains won’t delay the baggage carriers, as they have walk several hours inland from the river-crossing by dugout canoe. Lesley is continuing the Glaro Bible translation in their original village, and will travel across to see Aaron & Amy once a month or so.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Verne & Denny have moved back into the Palaka village for the summer. Verne is helping the believers with church-wide crops and live-stock during these “famine” months. Denny is trying to finish the translation of Matthew 1-14 for a consultant to check by mid-June.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Paul & Marina are excited to see the Loron church having Bible teaching programs going for about 150 children – teaching them through the Bible chronologically.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I am preparing orientation sessions, and a devotional guide, for the 18 people from the Broadway Baptist Church that will be accompanying me to Haiti next month (on two separate trips.) We will be repairing a Baptist Haiti Mission building that collapsed in the earthquake, as well as building new homes for Haitian victims. I also want to connect with Haitian translation checkers, to continue the French Bible curriculum for the 300 BHM Christian schools there.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\"Theo<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Martha will be “holding the ropes” here at home, caring for her mom (86) who can no longer be left by herself for any length of time. We have been able to “baby-sit” our grandkids a couple times recently, and will again the end of June – while Aaron & family transition to his new\u00a0post in California.<\/p>\n

PRAY:<\/p>\n

1- for the missionaries with the Glaro tribe who are working in very isolated villages, translating Scripture and studying their culture & language.<\/p>\n

2- for missionaries with the Palaka for the summer (Verne & Denny; Allan & Mandy) helping the new believers with teaching, dicsipling, Bible translation & practical community aid.<\/p>\n

3- for Theo’s preparations for leading two missions trips to Haiti next month; for his French translation projects; & Martha’s care for her mom.<\/p>\n

PRAISE:<\/p>\n

1- for good reception by the Glaro leaders, inviting the missionaries Aaron & Amy to move to their remote village.<\/p>\n

2- for missionaries that are able to visit new churches in Ivory Coast this summer.<\/p>\n

3- for occasions to visit our oldest son, Aaron, Av\u00e9, Abby, Analise & Aaron Junior last month & soon again.<\/p>\n
