<\/a>Yes, Rainsville, Alabama was hit hard, with over 30 people who died\u00a0in the tornado\u00a0from our town of 5,000 alone, and many more, even friends we know,\u00a0 have lost homes, some have lost their businesses and some have lost places where they work. We personally only had the northern-Alabama-wide lack of electricity for almost 4 days,\u00a0during which time we went to Martha’s brother’s house in Chattanooga, where I was able to keep working on the Haiti Bible lessons. The devastation we saw here in DeKalb County, upon our return yesterday, reminds me of the earthquake damage I saw in Haiti last summer. So heart-breaking\u2026<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This makes us want all the more to press on with the Bible curriculum for the schools in Haiti. I am trying to get a rought draft of two lessons a week ready for checking in Haiti, so that they can print the grade one Bible lessons this summer. For grade one, I am revising a set of lessons that the Baptist Haiti Mission had started writing before they became aware of the New Tribes Mission curriculum project. We will be translating the NTM 5-year Bible curriculum into French \u2013 from Haiti, Lord willing, in the next couple of years.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 News from C\u00f4te d’Ivoire has not been entirely encouraging yet, as the transition to a stable governance by the new leader has a ways to go. With people still afraid of revenge killings, there are crops that are not getting planted now at the beginning of rainy season, which means the food crises will last into next harvest season.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We have not been able to move to Sanford, Florida yet, since since our own house has not sold. But we look forward to joining the development team in Florida working on these Firm Foundations Children’s School Curriculum lessons, as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
PRAY:<\/p>\n
1- For a buyer for our house, so that we can move to Florida. Our “stuff” is all in boxes, ready to go.<\/p>\n
2- For the grade one Bible lessons for the schools in Haiti to be completed by this summer.<\/p>\n
3- For the new Firm Foundation Bible curriculum being developed, which will become available for translation into languages around the world.<\/p>\n

1- The local public school, where I’ve had some part-time work, was hit after school hours, PTL – though it’s closed “until further notice” (as of May 2nd.)<\/p>\n
2- Martha’s parents’ house was sold! We will move temporarily back into our house, as we wait for it to sell.<\/p>\n
3- We serve a God who is completing His Bride for His return, and gives us each a part as we say Yes, Lord, Yes.<\/p>\n
