It is being printed by the Baptist Haiti Mission, for use in their 330 schools in northern Haiti. This month I will start working on planning the lesson lay-out for their Grade Two Bible lessons. Then in January, Lord willing, I will be working on the Scope and Sequence for the international school curriculum that New Tribes Mission is developing. This is the curriculum that we will be taking to Haiti for writing the French lessons for their Grade Three through Grade Six Bible classes. For now, we are continuing to work on these projects from here in Alabama, as we wait for our house to sell. It would be nice if we could move to Florida, to be nearer to the NTM Field Ministries Office, for this development phase. But we will need to live in Haiti to adequately be able to write Bible lessons that will communicate readily to the Haitian culture and French & Creole languages.
At Christmas we all like to be with friends and family. But we have missionary coworkers of ours who will be spending Christmas in remote places in Côte d’Ivoire this holiday season. One missionary lady, in order to translate the Palaka Scriptures, is in an isolated town for a couple more months while her husband continues training missionary candidates in Missouri. A single missionary lady is working on Bible translation in a Glaro village, while her co-workers are still studying culture & language in a different Glaro village across the river. Another missionary couple just moved back to the Loron village from where they flee because of civil uncertainty about 9 years ago. While they were gone they have been able to translate several books of the Bible into Loron, already.
Let’s hold up these missionaries in prayer, who, among many others, are living out why Jesus came almost 2,011 years ago.
PRAISE God with us:
1- for helping us finish the Grade One Bible lessons for Haiti last month!
2- that there are missionaries who are willing to be away from their families this Christmas in order to proclaim the reason for the season.
3- for opportunities to keep telling the Good News of Christmas to those who have never yet heard it – not even once.
PRAY with us:
1- as we set our own goals for 2012 and beyond, so we can get Bible lessons developed for grades 2 – 6 for the Baptist Haiti Mission.
2- for the Firm Foundation international school curriculum being developed in Florida.
3- for church-planting efforts in Côte d’Ivoire and around the world, often amidst daunting, difficult circumstances.

We thank God for those who are standing with us in ministry.

Merry Christmas,

Theo & Martha Enns
60 Briarwood Lane – Rainsville, AL 35986 – Cell phone: 256-601-9765
New Tribes Mission of Canada; Box 707; Durham, ON N0G 1RO; CANADA – http://canada.ntm.org
New Tribes Mission, Inc.; 1000 E.
