\"\" We have been waiting to complete some long-term translation projects for French-speaking West Africa. (There are 20 countries that use French as an official language). Recently, we received a request for a more accessible, downloadable version of the French 3-volume set of \u201cBuilding on Firm Foundations\u201d. I had edited and translated this set in 2005, but I am seeing that especially Volume 1 (which was translated originally by a non-missionary) needed some minor revision. This second edition will seek to use vocabulary normally used by French-speaking missionaries, who anticipate translating the chronological story of God\u2019s plan of redemption for people groups who haven\u2019t heard the Gospel in their own language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One third of the world population hasn\u2019t heard the Good News. Please be praying for God to raise up more laborers. And pray for the missionaries who are translating the Word of God into their languages. One prayer help that we use is a weekly prayer bulletin put out by our Ethnos Canada home office. Thank you for joining in prayer for us:<\/strong>
– as I translate missionary training material into French, for missionaries to use in bridging the language gap to reach people groups in Africa whose mother tongue is not French.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– as these missionary software tools are developed and need to be translated into French: tools for teaching literacy, and for learning the culture and languages of people groups that still need to hear the Gospel in their own language. The Bible still needs to be translated into over 2000 languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Praise the Lord with us:<\/strong>
– for protection from any major illness for ourselves and my mom living with us, over this last 1 \u00bd years.
– for the privilege of being a part (you are, also, by your prayers for us) of seeing God prepare His Bride from every tribe, tongue & nation, before He comes again \u2013 maybe soon \u2013 to take His children Home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
