We are alive :D

July 22, 2013 by Tim and Peggy Castagna

It has been crazy since we hit the States in Dec.  We were traveling seeing our supporters and Churches and while in San Diego my sister Gussie needed Open Heart Surgery.  She had the surgery Mar. 12th.  I raced back to Rogers, Ar. to help her and Tim followed with the car a wk. later.   She is still having trouble bouncing back.  Her breathing hasn’t been well in this 95 degree heat and bad humidity.   Zaps her of her energy.  We would appreciate prayer for her.  We praise the Lord for a wonderful place to stay here for 4 months on the Church property.  It and the car we have been able to borrow from the church has been such a huge blessing.  We will move to Gussie’s house on July 29th.  We plan to drive up to Co. Aug. 9th to see our niece, Amber Castagna get married.  So happy for her and that we will have a chance to be with a lot of family.  Tim’s folks in Fla. won’t be able to make it though.  Traveling is getting more difficult for them.  We will also get to see one of our supporters while in Co. then Lord willing we will get to spend two nights with Gracia Burnham on our way back to Ar.  We haven’t gotten to see her in quite awhile.

Then we make we make the big move to Fl.  We feel that it would be nice to be near Tim’s folks to be of a help to them.  They are retired New Tribes Missionaries living at our NTM Homes.  Tim will be working at our head office there in Sanford Fla.  just half a mile from the Retirement Home.  I will be helping in at the Homes.  We make the big move Sept. 9th.  Such a Big Move for us.  Our home has been in the Philippines for 27yrs.  Almost half our lives.  We really appreciate your prayers for us in our adjustments.  I, Peg, couldn’t talk about it for our 1st month and and a half home without crying.  It has been hard on us both, but we know God is directing us this way for a time.  We still have hopes of returning to the Philippines some day.  We are now getting excited about what new things the Lord has in store for us and what ministry opportunities await us.  GOD IS SO GOOD!  He has always given us a joy to do what He has called us to do.  Tim will go to the Philippines Aug. 19th- Sept. 3rd to sell our car, give away and sell our things and bring back what he can.  He won’t be able to bring much on the plane.  Mainly our family photos.  Looking for an economical way of getting back important things etc.

Praise The Lord With Us For:

1.  The Lord’s  provision for Tim’s plane ticket to the Philippines!  Huge blessing to us.

2.  Wonderful car to borrow and place to stay.  We had a wonderful place to stay for one month in San Diego also.

3.  Been able to be a help to Peggy’s sister

Please Pray For

1. Tim’s trip to the Philippines.  That he would have wisdom to know what to keep and a way to ship a few things.  (It    is fairly cheap to ship things to the Philippines.  It definitely isn’t coming this way.)

2.  Safety in the rest of our travels.

3.  For a car.  We will be needing to give this car back to the Missions department of our Church the end of Aug.

4.  For the finances for our big move.  We plan to rent a U-Hall

5.  That our support level would increase to meet our monthly needs here in the US.

6. Please pray for Peggy’s finger.  We think she tore a ligament or something and she will see the Dr today.  It has been six weeks, and seemed to be healing, but now seems to be regressing.
