WHY WOULD WE SAY THAT BEING A PART OF NTM AVIATION IS REALLY BIG?

Because being a part of this ministry has eternal value, it has an impact around the world, and we can truly say…there is never a dull moment!

[My webpage photos] It may be a bit deceiving, but this photo doesn’t really depict what Tim does on a day to day basis.  In fact, his log book isn’t getting filled any too fast these days!  He is qualified to fly with NTMA and he is also a qualified mechanic, but the Lord has seen fit to use these abilities differently.

Because of our years in Canada with NTMC and because of the technical qualifications Tim has in aviation, we were asked to help lead NTMA through some world wide organizational and philosophy changes.

This ministry involves much travel to various countries around the world.  These are pictures of Tim in one of the countries we work in with some of the aviation team members there.  He often spends many of his working hours in meetings so it is great when he gets to be a part of helping out the pilots.  His ministry involves strategizing, planning ahead, working with other aviation organizations, and working through various issues.  Issues that are both organizational and relational.  They involve many people, with different personalities, ideas and different cultures.  Tim is the chairman of a team of men who all work together and seek the Lord’s Wisdom in all that they are responsible for.

Sue’s responsibilities include, eating “bon bons”, reading Good Housekeeping, shopping, getting manicures & pedicures…oh, sorry, am I dreaming again?  Actually, my responsibilities cover a wide range of territory.  As far as my NTMA responsibilities, I am helping Tim in the office, helping out on the social committee, organizing various mission functions, providing ideas to better NTMA :), discipling others and working through relationships along side of Tim, or also by myself with ladies, and serving wherever the Lord sees fit to use me.

I also enjoy all of the responsibilities of being a wife and mother.  I get to go on field trips, cook for the football and basketball teams, throw birthday parties, and so many other normal household responsibilities.  I also get to spend many hours counseling our children who are in various stages of life and helping them develop in their walk with God.  That is one of the most rewarding ministries I have right now.

A LITTLE ABOUT OUR FAMILY…

[Tim/Sue] Tim & I (Sue) met at New Tribes Mission Bible school in 1985.  Tim took one look at me and knew he wanted to marry me…O.K., not really, but since I am doing this I can make up whatever I want, can’t I?   Actually, it took a few months to get noticed, but by 1986 we were married.  Whoo Hoo!!

We started preparing to go overseas with NTM as a missionary pilot/mechanic family.   By 1991, we were finished with all of our training and were headed to the Philippines with NTM Aviation, then known as TAC.  The Lord had other plans and through various circumstances He led us to serve at the missionary training center in Durham, Ontario.  Tim has always had a desire to teach Spiritual truths and this gave us a great opportunity for the Lord to use that gift He has given Tim.  We were also blessed with a wonderful team there who helped us continue to grow Spiritually and in the area of leadership.

In 2001, we felt the Lord was directing us back into the aviation ministry.  We left NTM of Canada with many tears but looked forward to where God was taking us.  We moved to McNeal, AZ and completed the needed “re-currency” flight/mechanics training.  But again, after packing and preparing to leave to go overseas to fly for NTMA in 2002, the Lord had other plans, and we were asked to stay here in McNeal, AZ to provide leadership to NTMA as an organization and to the missionaries.

Through these years God has blessed us with four awesome children who all have tender hearts for God.  They have moved many times during their lives and had much change over the years.  But they have remained “on team” with us in all that God has desired for us to do and they are a vital part of our ministry.

Jessie and RandyJessie & Randy, are now married and enjoying living in Jackson near New Tribes Bible school.   They are working this year and getting involved in their church in preperation for going to NTM’s MissionsTraining Center in Durham, ONT in the Fall.

241_37845Drew attended a year of New Tribes Bible college and is now home working and hoping to get into the EMT course at the local college.  He wants to be a paramedic and go everseas with NTM.

[photos of kids] Marie is a junior in high school.  She plays Volleyball and Tennis.  She is also in the high school choir and sings, and plays bass guitar, with the praise team at church.  She works baking bread once a week to pay for her cell phone.

[photos of kids] Ben is in 8th grade.  He is back in the public school this year and is doing great.  He plays 3 seasons of sports for the Jr. high school and plays drums in the high school band.  He still plays drums in the praise band at church and is learning to play guitar too.  We are thankful for the opportunity the kids have to be involved at church.
