Gratitude Attitude

April 9, 2026 by Tim and Andrea Ullum

As I’ve been reading a book on Gratitude I’ve been challenged to be more intentional in my “Thank you Lord” prayers. The author talked about how easy it is to be thankful for things that go well for me. But what about taking intentional time to recognize all we have to be thankful for, acknowledge God as the ultimate Gift-Giver and then expressing to Him our Gratitude. May we all “Seek to cultivate a buoyant, joyous sense of the crowded kindnesses of God in our daily life.” -Alexander Maclaren

Believers in our village celebrating Easter in their new church building

On that we note we do want to give praise to God for a number of things:

  1. The Body of believers in the village area are continuing to meet and grow together in God’s Word. They even enjoyed sharing a meal together and gathering in the new church building they put up. It was just recently completed.
  2. . The trip is coming closer where Tim will be taking a few people from our church here in Jacksonville , including a couple architects, to begin making a blueprint for the new Tribal Training Center. The training we have been helping with has attained some property and are ready to begin developing it. It will be a huge asset to continue training tribal believers to go cross-cultually and share the Gospel!
  3. We have truly enjoyed being a part of the Young Professional (mostly single and out of college age group) ministry in our local church! We have enjoyed serving together in this space!
  4. Praise that our girls have both gotten their drivers licenses are also making progress in their career training and also GAP year programs. Abby left last week for her Wilderness Bible School adventure in Canada and is already having a great time!
  5. Praise the Lord for our 25th Wedding anniversary! We are blessed beyond measure and treasure each day we have together.
  6. We are also SO VERY THANKFUL FOR EACH ONE OF YOU! IT’s a joy to be in partnership with you as we continue to serve and minister both at home and abroad!
Easter Sunrise Service!
Abby still making cinnamon rolls even in Bible school. We miss her.
Celebrating 25 wonderful and memorable years together!

We are available and would love to connect with any of you in Jacksonville over the next few months! Aside from Tim’s trip to Asia in May we will be in the area.

Thank you for praying for the items mentioned above and they are praises and also ongoing prayer points!

Gratefully,

Tim & Andrea
