“Jesus doesn’t merely come down to show you the way up- Jesus comes down to make Himself into the Way to carry you up” -Ann Voskamp<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I pondered this today in my advent reading it was such a refreshing reminder of our dear Savior who is like no other religious leader\/prophet\/god. He didn’t come to give us a list of rules to follow (if we can) but rather He came inviting us into a relationship with Himself. We’re so undeserving and most blessed of people who can call Him our Prince of Peace and Everlasting Father! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fall and winter months for Tim have been full of ministry trips, teaching the Indonesian missionaries in training, preaching in Romans, and other leadership responsibilities. He took a 2 week trip to Thailand to receive training on new consultant material, and many other global partnership topics with our sending organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together Tim & I serve the missionary community here in town each week in a variety of ways. Sometimes it’s through zoom calls with some of our team who have had to return to their home country because of sickness or other issues, other times it’s planning and implementing fellowship times to help our larger group cohesion. Or sometimes just sitting with families to encourage them in the battle. We would appreciate your prayers for God’s enabling in this ministry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our kids are progressing through school as this semester comes to a close. All of us, including the teacher:), are looking forward to a break from school routine over Christmas! Can’t believe we will be half way through the girls’ 10th grade year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanksgiving get away as a family<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Right after Christmas our family will head interior to a village that is hosting an annual Christmas Bible conference. There will be 100’s of believers that attend. Tim will have an opportunity to teach from the book of Isaiah and we will get to reconnect with many tribal believer friends we have come to know over the years. This is not the village we use to live in, this village is only about 5 hours from the town we live in now. Dina’s birth family lives in this village. Pray for our interactions with their family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re So very thankful for each of you who support us and pray for our ministry and family. God is using you in our lives and it’s a huge blessing! Thank you for being a part with us, until all have heard the Good News!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re praying you will have a beautiful season of celebrating Immanuel and pondering how much God has shown us His love by sending Jesus to earth and being our WAY back to the Father!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
