Dear friends,<\/p>\n
We are just now getting around\u00a0to putting out an update for the year of 2014.\u00a0 I spent several hours today at our neighbors house.\u00a0 They had a traditional ceremony that lasts three days long.\u00a0 Today was the second day.\u00a0 The purpose of the event was to hang up an offering in the eves of the house that is a sign, or an offering to the spirits.\u00a0 According to peoples beliefs here, these spirits are the cause of\u00a0sickness, sleeplessness, bad dreams, and a variety of other maladies.<\/p>\n
These times are a mixture of good relationship time, loving the people here, as well as showing interest in their lives. Yet at the same time, we are deeply\u00a0saddened because of their\u00a0hopeless existence outside of Christ.\u00a0We believe that God loves these people and He has placed us here as part of His plan to gather all who will come.<\/p>\n
Please continue to pray with us as we prepare material.\u00a0 We are asking God for\u00a0a clear open door to begin teaching.\u00a0 There is still a lot of material that I need to get ready, yet\u00a0we are ready whenever God would open a\u00a0 door for us to begin teaching.\u00a0\u00a0Thanks for\u00a0persevering in prayer with us.<\/p>\n
