We enjoyed a team meal and fun day together as we counted our blessings and thanked the Lord above for His working in and through our lives! We’re so thankFULL for the team God has given us here in the Pries and Svoboda families. Our children all get to play and adventure together everyday. The guys enjoy fellowship and sharpen one another as they work through translation and lesson preparation and teaching. And the ladies have each other to lean on when life is raw and difficult. Knowing we can truly relate to each others’ situation is very comforting! We’re blessed with our team.
We are happy to announce that SEEDS ARE SPROUTING and signs of spring growth are appearing. Ok not so much in the seasonal sense, but in a spiritual sense! We are getting closer to teaching the death and resurrection of Christ as we teach in the house groups! Just recently there have been a few men who are starting to ask great questions and articulate some of the Truths that have been taught, in a personal way.

Sharing God’s Truth

Great Friends and Great Fun!

We’re excited to see God working in their hearts and truly believe that He is doing so much more than we can see. So please pray with us for the Spirit to continue to draw and convict and convince people of the Truth and reconciliation in Jesus!
We have an opportunity to go out to town the 2nd week of December for a quick break, then will be spending a week with our dear friend who’s husband unexpectedly went Home to be with Jesus a year ago this month. They are the same age as Tim and I and we started our adventure here in Asia Pacific with them 11 years ago. James has been GREATLY missed by all of us. Our friend will be coming back to say her goodbyes to friends and coworkers here and have closure for her and her kids. She moved back to the States right after his home going and is just now coming back to close up their tribal home and say an official goodbye. Please pray for this time that will difficult and very emotional. Pray for her 3 children as well, you can imagine the highs and lows that will come from this trip. Pray we would be a blessing as we walk through this time with her and the kids. Thanks!
We have started our advent reading here and are celebrating all the at Jesus is to us! May you have a blessed season of wonder and joy as you focus upon the Savior come to earth!
Thank you for your prayers and concern and giving.
