Our family is really enjoying the new signs of life and beautiful flowers all around as the weather warms. We’re also enjoying the public celebrations of Easter as we rejoice in our Lord. Remembering Easter in years past has been just with our team in the village. Here in Jax we’re able to celebrate our Lord’s resurrection with many other brothers and sisters.
We have really enjoyed this time of connecting with many of our Jax. friends. Starting with the missions conference at Christian Family Chapel and continuing through Sunday morning and Wednesday night classes, as well as lunches and dinners. We have enjoyed connecting with many of you! During our days Tim has been continuing to work on writing Bible lessons in the tribal language which he sends to our partners in the village to teach. I continue to homeschool the girls and have been thankful for all the resources and helps at my fingertips while here in the States. Each one of us have benefited from being involved in the activities at church for all ages. It’s been a time of encouragement in English in God’s Word and such good growth. Beyond that we have been racking up lots of new family experiences. Our most recent fun was family roller skating and horseback riding.
We received some surprising news from our partners in the village. Apparently the house that we have been using for the last 9 years is no longer available to us. The owner has plans to use it in the next year or so. Not sure what this means for our family. So we’re looking to the Lord and seeking His direction for our next steps. If you think about it please pray with us that God’s leading and provision would be clear to us. Also pray for our girls who have grown up in that house and are very attached to it. They were both very sad to hear that we won’t be able to live there anymore.
Thanks for many of you who have been praying for our little Ullum on the way. We’re now 5 months along and found out last week that we’re having a boy. What a gift and blessing!!!
Teaching and discipling continues in the village by our 2 partner families. Many continue to study although some others are not coming to the teaching as much. Pray with us that God’s Word would come alive in their hearts and that many more would be drawn to the Truth!

Recent picture of our study group

Thank you so much for the ways you encourage us through your giving and prayers.
