First of all we want to thank each one of you, our FRIENDS, for your time- reading our updates and praying, for your support- just knowing you are around the world remembering our family and the dear ones we’re serving. Your friendship encourages us to continue to here in Asia Pacific! Thank you.

There are many of you out there that we have not heard from since our time in the states almost 2 years ago. If you have time, we would love to hear from you. A brief update of you family, or some ways we can be praying for you.

We want to let you know that our village FRIENDS are continuing to hear God’s Word taught in their heart language. Tim was able to make a 5 day trip into the village to get our house ready to live in again. During that time he joined an ongoing outreach that has finally taught through the death and resurrection of Jesus. They met and talked about Jesus’ parable of sheep and a shepherd. Several expressed their faith in Jesus alone as their savior.

Can you hear Jesus’ words, “I have other sheep…I must bring them too,” Jesus is still gathering all kinds of people to become His friend!

IF you remember we’ve been in town for about 5 months now, because of some complications with my pregnancy, and now awaiting all the paperwork for Torin to be able to live in the country. During that time we’ve had 3 groups of village friends come out to town to help Tim work on translated portions including the book of Ephesians. This has been more than just a technical time of checking words and sentences. This has been a great time of discipleship and discovery.

Our partners have been in the village continuing to teach and see God working in hearts. They have just finished teaching a small group of believers through the book of Acts. Honestly the growth we hoped to see of their function as believers has been very slow. We want to lovingly stand with them as they seek to be directed by God’s Spirit.

The theme of FRIENDS came to mind while watching our 2 little boys get to know each other. Titus (22 months) loves to climb on the bed beside Torin (2 months), hold onto his hand, and say “We’re Friends!” Boy do we hope that continues all of their lives, being the best of FRIENDS.

“We’re friends mama,”

Thanks for praying for our family as we prepare to head back to the jungle.
