I got a chance to travel with Torin to Japan to surprise family and be there for the birth of a sweet nephew! It was a very special time to reconnect with my parents and sister’s family! These are treasured times as we live our lives oceans away from one another. Tim held down the fort and did a great job while I was gone. Sure is great to be back together!

Tim has been working on developing some booklets in the tribal language. These will be a tool to help people who have heard some or all of the foundational Bible lessons, review and solidify those truths. Ideally it will be a tool the more mature believers can use to connect with those who have not yet shared a clear testimony of salvation. Pray for this ongoing project.

Sikit (with Torin) helping check booklets

This verse: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 (NET)

This popular benediction of Paul’s hit a chord for me the other day. As we look forward to celebrating advent and Immanuel- Christ come to earth, we can be filled with JOY and PEACE as we believe that God is near us, He is in control, and He is our HOPE.
