Dear Friends and Family,<\/p>\n

We’re a bit past Thanksgiving but still want you to know that we are grateful for each one of you and the part you play in our lives across the ocean. We don’t deserve all the dear friends and faithful prayer partners that regularly lift us up. We are so thankful for you. It’s a joy to be in this work together with you. Your emails and financial gifts are a blessing to us and many beyond just our family!<\/p>\n

With my sister<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We have been out in the coastal town the last two weeks. I got a chance to travel with Torin to Japan to surprise family and be there for the birth of a sweet nephew! It was a very special time to reconnect with my parents and sister’s family!\u00a0 These are treasured times as we live our lives oceans away from one another. Tim held down the fort and did a great job while I was gone. Sure is great to be back together!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tim has been working on developing some booklets in the tribal language. These will be a tool to help people who have heard some or all of the foundational Bible lessons, review and solidify those truths. Ideally it will be a tool the more mature believers can use to connect with those who have not yet shared a clear testimony of salvation. Pray for this ongoing project.<\/p>\n

This verse: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 (NET)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This popular benediction of Paul’s hit a chord for me the other day.\u00a0 As we look forward to celebrating advent and Immanuel- Christ come to earth, we can be filled with JOY and PEACE as we believe that God is near us, He is in control, and He is our HOPE. With so much sadness and despair in the world, what a blessing it is to have a God of HOPE. He brings beauty from ashes, ultimate healing and wholeness. May we all hold tighter to His hand, be convinced of His Goodness, and abound in HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit that is in us!<\/p>\n
