Beginning again

January 20, 2012 by Tobi Magill

How many times does God bring us back to what feels like beginning again? You think you’ve learned a lesson and then God brings you back to a new scenario and you find you need to learn the same lesson over again. Or maybe you think you’ve messed up your life too much for God to do anything with it but then He reminds you of His great love, grace, and forgiveness and He gives you the opportunity to pick up and start again. Or maybe you think that a door has closed for good but after a while God opens the door again.

This last is where I find myself. I loved living in Papua New Guinea in 2012 but God had set a definite time frame for that trip and when it was up He brought me back to the U.S. A few moves, a few jobs, and a few years later and God is letting me go back! I don’t know if I can put into words what that means to me! So much joy and excitement!

As this former adventure begins again it is both old and new. I look forward to sharing more of that adventure with you!

I am starting out in Ministry Partnership Development, preparing to join the team in PNG next summer! Let me know if you’d like to hear more about our ministry in person!
