The importance of prayer and financial partners.
Missionaries with Ethnos360 are not salaried and are responsible to raise their own financial support to cover all of their personal and ministry expenses. By faith, missionaries trust God to meet those needs through the Body of Christ (John 3:27).
Ethnos360 Bible Institute (EBI) is the first phase of missionary training with Ethnos360. Over the course of two years, students are taught the Bible chronologically, firmly grounding them in God’s Word. This solid Biblical foundation is essential to life and ministry and will bear fruit in their lives as they learn how to have a close and dependent walk with the Lord. A close walk with the Lord is the most essential thing that missionaries need to carry out church planting work in remote parts of the world (John 15:5).
After graduating from Bible School, missionary candidates head to Ethnos360 Training (ETC) for another two years of training where they will learn culture and language acquisition skills. These technical skills are essential for church planting among unreached people groups.
God uses the entire body of Christ to reach the over 2,000 unreached people groups around the world who have never heard of Jesus Christ – people still living in spiritual darkness! Fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) is a team effort – we need each other to fulfill the Lord’s command to reach the world with the Good News of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.
As of December 1, 2025, we became retired missionaries with Ethnos360. Todd will continue to be engaged remotely, as needed, with His replacement at EBI through the end of 2026.
As retired missionaries, we are currently receiving gifts that cover 32% of our budgeted finances. Any donations made to retired missionaries are considered support for past service and remain tax deductible. If you would like to financially partner with us, click here. If you do decide to financially partner with us, indicate that your financial support is for Todd and Sue Nelson with our giving number: 201196.
Please pray for us and all the missionaries serving Christ throughout the world. After all, without the Lord we accomplish nothing (John 15:5).
If you haven’t done so yet, listen to AWAYO’s testimony. He is thankful that missionaries came and learned his language and culture and brought the light of God’s Word into his spiritual darkness. His heart is now burdened for others, like himself, who have never heard about Jesus and have no witnesses to preach the Gospel.
