{"id":326,"date":"2010-08-14T09:12:05","date_gmt":"2010-08-14T14:12:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/todd-nelson\/?p=326"},"modified":"2010-08-14T09:45:34","modified_gmt":"2010-08-14T14:45:34","slug":"the-heart-of-our-lord-and-savior-jesus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/todd-nelson\/2010\/08\/14\/the-heart-of-our-lord-and-savior-jesus\/","title":{"rendered":"The Heart of our Lord and Savior Jesus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u201cFor God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son &#8230;\u201d<\/em> \u2013 John 3:16<\/p>\n<p>We read this verse in church and sing songs about it.\u00a0 We see it raised high on cards at football games.\u00a0 But stop and think for a moment.\u00a0 This verse is more than words to a song.\u00a0 This verse is more than ink on paper.\u00a0 This verse speaks of the heart of our Savior, a heart for every person on this planet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jesus died on the cross to pay sin\u2019s awful penalty.\u00a0 He rose from the dead proving that our sin debt was paid for.\u00a0 In Jesus Christ we find life, real life.\u00a0 Jesus wants everyone to know this Good News and to have the opportunity to believe in Him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<object width=\"570\" height=\"350\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/CQZQBdR-Wck?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"570\" height=\"350\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/CQZQBdR-Wck?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Before He ascended to Heaven, Jesus spoke what was on His heart.\u00a0 He said to us, \u201cGo therefore and make disciples of <strong>all<\/strong> nations.\u201d (Matt 28:19)\u00a0 When He commanded this, He spoke from His heart.\u00a0 He meant what He said.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus asks us to look around and see the world through His eyes (John 4:35).\u00a0 Jesus said to His disciples, \u201cSo pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest;
