\"\"<\/a>Things are pretty crazy these days as we continue to tackle paperwork (poor Tom) and begin to dive into the complicated task of packing. \u00a0As you may imagine, when you are moving to an island half way around the world there are things you would need. \u00a0Add to this the fact that this island is one of the least developed and unexplored places left on earth,\u2026you need a few more things. Though it has been difficult, we are gathering much advice from those who have gone before and our lists are coming together.<\/p>\n

As for the packing, would you believe that everything we are shipping can take up to six months to get to Papua New Guinea! Judging by our estimated departure for PNG, this means we are running a bit behind! Meanwhile, Jude is getting a real thrill out of the large tubs we are packing in and views them as his own personal play-pen. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Right now we are praising the Lord since just yesterday we received a wonderful gift of something we will need a lot of overseas: SHOES! \u00a0A sweet couple from our church gifted us with several pairs of shoes that will serve our needs very well while living in a place that is very hot and has a lot of rough terrain. \u00a0We are so very thankful to them for their unique investment to this ministry. \u00a0After all, you can\u2019t get the gospel to the unreached with bare feet! \u00a0As simple as this is, we are incredibly encouraged by just one more piece of our needs list being met. \u00a0God is our wonderful provider and He never ceases to amaze us by His provision!<\/p>\n
