\"\"<\/a>With all the trips to the store and packing it feels like we are leaving and not just our stuff! \u00a0Considering how stressful and exhausting it has been to get all our things ready to ship, I am very grateful to have the next three months to prepare ourselves!<\/p>\n

Last weekend we had our much awaited \u201cHut Warming Party\u201d. \u00a0Before I tell you more I just want to say a very BIG THANK YOU to our wonderful friends the Davies who hosted this gathering for us. \u00a0John & Louise, we love you are your family so much. \u00a0We thank you for your love and support, you are such an encouragement to us! \u00a0Ok, now back to the party. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0It was a wonderful gathering and Tom and I were so uplifted by everyone who attended. \u00a0We were given many of the things we needed and through some gift cards and money, we were able to get some more things after that! \u00a0It was incredible to see people desiring to take part in this crucial ministry by helping us in this practical way. \u00a0It made a HUGE difference. \u00a0If you are reading this and came to the party or helped in any way-THANK YOU.<\/p>\n

Our garage is freezing cold and unfortunately for us, that is where we have been spending much of our time-packing. \u00a0We thought our stuff needed to be put on a truck headed to Missouri today (March 26) so we had been running around like crazy packing all our stuff up. \u00a0An hour before we were going to leave to take our stuff to the truck we received a blessed phone call from our missions shipping people who told us they are having a delay. \u00a0Thankfully this delay is being passed onto us so we now have four more days. \u00a0Praise the Lord! \u00a0We are so thankful for this unexpected delay because we need a rest and there was some stuff we still needed to get but didn\u2019t have time for! \u00a0Packing for a trip is one thing but packing to move to an isolated island is another. \u00a0We have to think of everything it seems. \u00a0For example: we need to bring a flash light so we pack the flash light. \u00a0Well, what happens when the bulb blows out? \u00a0When the batteries go dead? \u00a0Well, you get the idea. \u00a0This is how it goes with much of what we are packing. \u00a0It hurts our brains and we look forward to being done!<\/p>\n

So, we are taking a few hours of a breather before getting back to sorting and packing, labeling and filling out shipping forms. \u00a0Even though packing is a pain, it is one more step to getting the gospel to those who are living isolated from the chance to hear it. \u00a0And because of that, we are happy to do this and very excited!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
