{"id":2150,"date":"2010-06-30T07:53:24","date_gmt":"2010-06-30T14:53:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thatallmayknow.org\/?p=2150"},"modified":"2017-10-11T10:14:57","modified_gmt":"2017-10-11T15:14:57","slug":"our-mr-jude","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/tom-carlton\/2010\/06\/30\/our-mr-jude\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Mr. Jude"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/tom-carlton\/files\/2010\/06\/CIMG1821.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2152\" title=\"CIMG1821\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/tom-carlton\/files\/2010\/06\/CIMG1821-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Often we get asked about how Jude is doing, so I thought I would take this opportunity to be a gushing mother and tell you!\u00a0\u00a0Sometimes its crazy to think about how Jude is almost 15 months old now.\u00a0\u00a0We can\u2019t believe how big he is getting and all the ways that he is beginning to act like a little boy and not a baby.\u00a0\u00a0He is walking all the time (he is trying to run too) and can pick himself up when he falls.<\/p>\n<p>In the last couple weeks he has started being quite the climber.\u00a0\u00a0He will use whatever he can to get to a higher level whether that is a stack of books, a step stool or a bucket-he will find a way to get on top of it!\u00a0\u00a0Of course this means we must be extra attentive to what he is doing so\u00a0there is never a dull moment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/tom-carlton\/files\/2010\/06\/DSCF6634.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2156\" title=\"DSCF6634\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/tom-carlton\/files\/2010\/06\/DSCF6634-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Jude\u2019s favorite foods right now are bananas (which he loves taking WAY too big of bites out of), fruit smoothies, bread and Cheerios!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He loves meal times, snack times and bath times and is always in the mood for some exploring in the yard.\u00a0\u00a0Jude can say \u201cMamma,\u201d \u201cDadda\u201d and tries to say Dog by saying \u201cDah!\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The times we laugh most at him are when he dances to songs we play, tastes something sour or tries to \u201crace\u201d us on the side walk.\u00a0\u00a0He also LOVES nursery or anytime he can interact with other kids\/babies and he also LOVES animals-especially if he can touch them.<\/p>\n<p>We feel like we are learning a lot about how to be good parents to Jude and pray often that God would give us wisdom to make the right decisions for him.\u00a0\u00a0It is very rewarding to watch him learn to obey us and difficult when he chooses to disobey and has to learn about consequences.\u00a0\u00a0He is a smart little guy and we can tell more and more the times when he is making a choice to go against what we have told him.\u00a0\u00a0But we continue to rely on the Lord and most of all we thank Him for the privilege to be his parents.\u00a0\u00a0We LOVE this kid SO much.\u00a0\u00a0He is amazing!\u00a0\u00a0So, there you are.
