\"\"<\/a>Our travel from Australia to Papua New Guinea went relatively smoothly. When we got to the capital of PNG, Port Moresby, we had to wait in a really short line for a really LONG time! It was very very hot and being crammed in with a lot of people did not make things smell that great. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Half way through the line Jude woke up and when he saw the sea of Papua New Guinean faces and heard all the noise he started screaming. That was the first time in our whole trip that he had cried that much, so it was rough. I couldn\u2019t quite blame him for being so upset though. Poor kid. So I stripped him down to his diaper and that helped a bit! \ud83d\ude00 Finally after an hour of waiting a security guy came to us and waved us to the front of the line. Praise the Lord! After that it was smooth sailing to the next flight.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>When we landed on the island of New Britain the sun was setting and it was unreal to say the least. Seeing the mountains bathed in golden sunlight was unlike any sight I have ever seen. I feel like crying just remembering it now. It was so beautiful it left us speechless and our hearts felt such a comfort and peace looking down onto the land that would be our new home and our place of ministry. Any fears we had had were gone. We landed smoothly and thankfully missed the dog that ran across the runway. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Some missionaries were there to meet us and we were warmly welcomed with hugs by them! It was a wonderful moment that I will never forget. They drove us to the NTM Center where we would be living and showed us our new place. It was strange being shown a place that we had never seen before, knowing this is were we will live.<\/p>\n

So… Here we are. We made it all in one piece! Praise the Lord for keeping us safe and sane through it all! For those of you who prayed-THANK YOU.<\/p>\n
