<\/a><\/p>\nHeading up and over the mountains from El Paso to get to the Border Crossing. Don & Chrissy led the way in their truck that was carrying most of our stuff!<\/p>\n
Beautiful mountains!<\/p>\n It was a beautiful drive and we took it all in as we discussed all that was ahead of us.<\/p>\n The Border! Our crossing went very smoothly and we got charged less than we had anticipated for our things. That was huge Praise!<\/p>\n The landscape changed even more as we crossed into Mexico. Things got even dryer!<\/p>\n As it got dark we enjoyed a different kind of beauty as we drove through the desert.<\/p>\n A lot of… nothing!<\/p>\n Beautiful sunset over the dessert! We got into Chihuahua after dark and were led to the house where we would be staying. We shivered and kept our coats on inside the house because it was very cold! The next morning we woke up to: THE CITY! This city is a very interesting place-it is both modern & ancient, rich & poor-all mixed together. It is confusing and beautiful, intimidating and a mystery. There is never nothing to look at and the traffic keeps you on your toes!<\/p>\n You go from crazy high traffic and fast paced highways to narrow streets that necessitate waiting for one car to pass before you can get where you need to get to sometimes!<\/p>\n And… here is a random horse grazing right on the outskirts of a neighborhood. We love it and it’s on the way to Don & Chrissy’s house so we see if often. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n This is how the kids talk to our temporary neighbors. Right through the bars! \ud83d\ude42 Paper air planes have been delivered over the walls, hand shakes and high fives have been given through the bars and many conversations that make no sense at all have been had!\u00a0 And… here is the driving across nothing like I was saying above.
