They were hosting a conference for the women in the Spanish speaking church in the town but because of safety guidelines they needed a male to go with them. Because of my intimidating physique, I was the natural choice. It was nice to get out and see the town, because when you live in the big city of Chihuahua you can settle into the idea that it is representative of Mexico. Beth was so proud of me. Ha.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It was good for my Spanish, mostly, as I got to practice a lot, even though I was speaking English some with our co-workers at times.
