Well it’s not Michigan cold, but for here in the southwest, it’s getting to be winter.
A couple of weeks ago one of the families at the Guest House mentioned that the furnace wasn’t coming on. Torre showed them how to light the pilot light, but had a feeling that it was going to be something more. That is the nice thing about living in the southwest, the winters are mild enough that a furnace “situation” can be somewhat delayed.
Once the Guest House cleared out of people he went over to inspect the problem. I think the words “whooshing” and “about singed my eyebrows” preceded, “I think it’s time for a new one.” As the keeper of the books, I agreed.

God has provided a friend here who has knowledge in home maintenance, and a schedule that allows him to help Torre. He also took pictures for us!

So if you are one of our missionaries and you are reading this…we are ready for your visit and you will be warm! And if you find yourself in room #106, guess what? The new furnace pumps all they way in there! Say good bye to the space heater.
Thanks for always praying for us. This is an example of something needing to be done quickly and God providing the timing, help, and funds to do it. It’s neat to see Him work in these unique ways.
